Hyperliquid
Prediction markets on Hyperliquid
HIP-4 brings outcome markets to Hyperliquid. You can trade them through a frontend, or run a frontend for your own community. Creating and settling the markets is a different job.
What is HIP-4?
HIP-4 is Hyperliquid's outcome-market standard. Each outcome has two sides, often called Yes and No. In a binary settlement, the winning side receives one unit of the quote token per share and the losing side receives zero. Other settlement fractions are possible under the market's rules.
A question can group several outcomes, with exactly one settling to Yes. Read the question, its deadline and its resolution rules together. A short title alone is not the contract.
The official HIP-4 specification explains the paired tokens and shared liquidity between the two sides.

Who runs what?
The market's published rules determine how it resolves. Protocol-managed recurring outcomes are deployed and settled by Hyperliquid on a schedule. Other markets have their own deployer and resolution arrangements. Check those details before trading or presenting a market to your community.
As a Floatout operator, you run the website: branding, community, support and the fee settings available on your plan. You do not hold traders' deposits or decide which outcome wins. Your site uses existing Hyperliquid accounts and markets.

How a frontend earns
A builder code identifies the frontend on eligible orders. For outcomes, builder fees apply to eligible sells carrying that code. The trader approves a fee ceiling, and your configured fee must stay within it.
For example, $10,000 of eligible sells at a 0.1% builder fee produces $10 in gross builder fees. Your retained amount is lower after Floatout's share and any partner commissions or trader kickbacks. Buying volume and settlement proceeds are not interchangeable with eligible sell volume.
A free Floatout site routes builder fees to Floatout. Activating earnings changes the treatment of future eligible fees. The fee comparison separates this frontend income from the fees charged by each venue.
Start with markets your community follows
Pick a few questions your members already discuss. Check the resolution source, deadline, spread and available depth. Give people a place to understand the market before asking them to place a trade.
You can try the frontend before creating one. If the markets fit your audience, Floatout's prediction platform puts them under your brand. You still need to decide where you can operate and whom you can serve.
Frequently asked questions
Can I write my own prediction question on Floatout?
Floatout offers existing Hyperliquid markets. Publishing your frontend does not create a question, appoint you as an oracle, or give you settlement rights.
Does my website need a separate order book?
No. Your traders access the underlying Hyperliquid book for each market. Liquidity varies by market, and a shared book does not guarantee that an order will fill.
When does my frontend earn fees?
After earnings activation, eligible sells carrying your builder code can generate builder fees. Your retained share depends on your plan and any partner or trader allocations. Settlement is not counted as frontend builder revenue.
